Write a ReviewMore than 1 year ago I signed a contract with Rick Andrews to sell a piece of property in Hayesville. Since that time there have been no showings of the property. February 8th I attempted to contact Rick with the intent of discussing a price reduction. I spoke with his office and left a message. Approx. 6 weeks later April 6th I called his office again and left a message. Again no reply. Then on April 12th, same results. Finally on April 14th I called and asked to cancel my contract. The response I received was and agreement to pay commission if the property sells during the remaining portion of our agreement. I declined. Why would I pay a commission to someone who has not done any to sell my property. How can a realtor sell property when they don't return phone calls?

Our house was not selling so switched real estate agents and went with Rick Andrews initially because their Century 21 office moved the most real estate in town (for many years straight). Sure enough he got a contract on our house in a month. However, along with that, Rick is hard worker, has great advice (which we asked for and took concerning the selling price), has great listing networks, and a tremendous first class staff helping him at the office. It also helped us that Rick had previous law experience in our homestate. We so enjoyed working with Rick that we were "sorry" it had to end - however - we hope to come back to the area to vacation sometime and Rick said he will connect us with a cabin rental whenever we are ready. Thank you to Rick and his staff for the fine job done in selling our house!

Rick Andrews has been working with me for the last several weeks and has done more to market the home I have for sale than any previous RE Agent. He is responsive, candid, experienced, and highly knowledgeable of the area. So far, so good!

With each appointment Rick has done the research and took the time to show me the type of properties that I am intereted in. He found us a great home for our family and also knew local contractors to help us make our home handicap accessible for my daughter. He has been very professional and helpful, I would definately use him again.

My wife Paula and I looked at 10+/- homes everyday in Ga & NC from sun-up to sun-down for 7 days. Jim & Jon treated us like real family making sure we looked at all the homes with the things that was important to us. On the last day we found the dream mountain home that we were looking for. Rick helped with the long negotiation that ended with Paula crying tears of joy. We now have a wonderful new home and blessed with three new life long friends. Mr. Andrews is by far the leading broker in the area in terms of transactions. He has by far the best suite of Internet sites to get broad exposure. His office staff is extremely helpful, competent and very friendly. Mr. Andrews always gives the client his honest opinion, based on experience and knowledge of the area. He is very accessible and personable. He goes out of his way to be as helpful as possible and is a pleasure to work with. During the course of a long multi year listing, we had numerous strategy meetings to discuss pricing, comparative properties in the area, and adjustments in marketing. Mr. Andrews provides a monthly sales report to all clients with commentary on local conditions and this information is quite valuable in keeping up with activity. Mr. Andrews was also very valuable during the negotiation process with the ultimate buyer, making excellent suggestions on how to maximize value and get the transaction completed.

We have land listed in a difficult area since the crash. Rick uses every marketing tool that seems to be out there.
Recently sold a piece and the service and results were excellent. Even though I do not live in the area, the communication was immediate.

Rick is trying to sell my mountain home that has been on the market for 6 years - he has had the listing for 5 1/2 months. He explains that there is a very slow market in the area at my price range. We are dropping the price in an effort to attract buyers.Rick is smart and has been very successful. I have been disappointed in the slowness of response to calls and e-mails.
